School Facilities
Sports and school hosted events are important for Franklin to keep our school spirit and what better way to do it than in sports? The school has three official teams, which are the male and female basketball team and the women's volleyball team. During winter Franklin organizes different ski trips, ice skating dates and outdoor activities to take advantage of the winter wonderland! Franklin also hosts many workshops for students and staff to keep students creative. These are posted weekly on the Franklin student app. (It's also a great way to meet new people!!)
The Grotto is the perfect place to go to do work and have food while being in a homie setting; it’s located next to the residence Panera in Kaletch Campus. It’s the perfect place to hangout with your friends outside while enjoying the weather and view of the mountains

Getting to know Franklin University
Irish Pub
Located on campus near Kaletch Campus, The Irish Pub has been an essential element of the Franklin lifestyle. Every Tuesday and Friday students go have drinks and blow off steam from the school day.
Monastery
Located behind Giaridno and the New Building, The Monastery is the best place to hang with friends when in need of a study break. Former competitive dancer Lexine Cantoria says “I go up there with my speaker and dance. It lets me take my mind off of school work.” Like most places in Lugano the view is breathtaking, especially during sunset.

That's Amore

In addition, they ship American snacks that aren't available in Lugano. The family provides homemade fresh food made daily that you can take to go. They can also deliver to your dorm if you contact this number:
Roberto: +41 765252809

It’s where Franklin students go to in emergencies and to get covid tested. In case of further issues then it’s recommended to go to the bigger hospital in Lugano called Civico. For emergencies this is the number to call:
